## === hardware prep 
- remove hard drive and attach it to the side of the computer for easy identification and later removal
- add 16 GB RAM
- power on and enter BIOS Setup
- unlock with password
- clear TPM in Security
- remove Password
- check Battery health and record it on a sticky note attached to the top of the laptop
- if any other issues were noticed (power, keyboard, touchpad, screen, etc) record it on the sticky note 
- reattach cover but do not tighten any screws
- store on donation shelf
